Stories, reflections, and lessons I’ve wanted to share for a long time.

After more than two decades in consulting, leading large programs, digital transformations, major implementations, and everything in between, I’ve learned that the most interesting conversations usually happen after the meetings.

They’re the thoughts that don’t always make it onto the official slide deck. The patterns I’ve seen repeat and the ones that still surprise me. The observations that spark reflection, provoke a smile, or challenge conventional wisdom.

This blog is where I share those moments, not as a tell-all, but as a way to think differently about the world of consulting, transformation, and delivery. It’s meant to be insightful, occasionally entertaining, and always grounded in real experience.

What to Expect Here

This isn’t a methodology guide or a highlight reel of best practices. It’s a mix of real experience, constructive skepticism, and questions that don’t always have easy answers like:

  • Why do we still write user stories that follow the rules but miss the point?
  • Why are we still failing at value realization after decades of transformation?
  • Is “permanent transformation” the new normal and what does that mean for organizations?
  • Why saying “it depends” is hated, but often the only honest answer.

Sometimes I’ll share personal stories, sometimes broader reflections. And sometimes, I’ll challenge the way we usually talk about consulting, delivery, and strategy.

About Me

I'm a consultant, a partner, and someone who’s spent years both designing the slides and explaining why they didn’t work. I’ve helped clients build programs, rethink IT and digital strategy, scale agile (when it makes sense), and navigate endless waves of change. I’ve seen great consultants overlooked, and great advice ignored. I’ve seen things work and seen them fail for surprising reasons.
I don’t claim to have all the answers. But I believe in asking better questions and in saying the things we often think, but don’t always voice.

Join the Conversation

If you’re a consultant, a client, or someone involved in shaping and delivering change, I hope this series offers something useful, maybe even a new perspective. You might nod along. You might disagree. That’s fine.

Because real transformation doesn’t come from one right answer. It comes from understanding both sides of the slide.
